You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. Isaiah 62:3

I happen to catch a glimpse of a highlight reel, that one of my beloved Sisters from church, posted on her social media account—Prince Harry unveiling Meghan Markle.

They way he looked at her, with this immense love and protection, evoked a deep spiritual illustration in my mind—the way our Heavenly Father will one day crown and unveil us.

Now, I will be honest and admit that at first I felt foolish over what I was feeling. I mean, it was just a silly Royal wedding snippet— have I lost my mind? Then I received confirmation through the Holy Spirit as I opened my Bible to exactly this verse:

You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord,
and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

Isaiah 62:3

A diadem is a “type of crown, specifically an ornamental headband worn by monarchs and others as a badge of royalty.”

I sobbed—like a child, on the floor on my knees while embracing my Bible. I don’t know about you, but I tend to be a hopeless romantic and right now, I feel as if I am living the biggest love story of my life. As I draw closer and closer to The Lord, my relationship with my Savior becomes deeply intimate—something words will never be enough to describe or even explain. All I can say is that no one has ever or will ever love me like my Heavenly Father. I long for the glorious day where I will finally get to see HIM and bow down in honor.

I envision our radiant KING in all of HIS splendor, placing beautiful crowns on our heads—calling us by our new name, while lifting a veil over us. I imagine HIS words, “My beloved daughter, you are now home.”

My home is in Heaven. I’m just traveling through this world.

~Billy Graham

In England, The Royal Family isn’t a club anyone can just join—it’s a family lineage. Other than being born or marrying into it, there is no other way in.
However, there is an even higher and more beautiful royal family, in which the King gives an opportunity for all to be part of—the Heavenly lineage from the kingdom of God.

How blessed are we, that our Savior Jesus Christ, died and suffered on the cross to give us an opportunity to enter heaven? That’s the purest and truest act of love.

One last thing before I go…

Are any of you wondering about the tiara image? It’s the one Kate Middleton used on her wedding day. The Queen let her borrow it and it’s known as the Scroll Tiara or the Cartier Halo Tiara. I chose it because the names were a perfect alignment—for I am writing (scroll) about my desire to receive the crown (halo) of enteral life.

Love, serve and use your talents to honor God with all of your heart while here on this earth.

10 All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord, and thy saints shall bless thee.

11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;

12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

13 The kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

Psalm 145:10-13

  1. Hi,

This is beautiful. Jesus changed my life over 45 years ago and the thing that changed me the most was seeing how much He loved me, just as I am and how He continues to reveal Himself to me. I can see how Jesus loves me with an everlasting love. He longs for fellowship with me! I am loved!!
